Unit 1 Test Monday, October 5

Please email me when you are ready for me to unlock your Unit 1 Tests. Use the weekend to study notes and review for Monday's first test.  The tests count as 100 points, which is a large portion of your grade thus far.

Unit 1 Geometry Test Due by October 5

Our Unit 1 Geometry Test is due by October 5. This will cover all material in Unit 1: Foundations of Geometry.  Please be sure to study all notes and review prior to emailing me to unlock your tests.  There is a computer graded test, as well as a teacher graded test, which must be submitted through email to me.

Virtual Honors Geometry Quiz

We have a quiz due today on section 1.6.3, as well as a 1.6.4 practice, which must be scanned and emailed to me (see Google Meets notes from yesterday on how to do this). Please make sure to stay on top of your due dates. It would be beneficial to buy a calendar and put it beside your computer. Put each course's assignments in a different color marker/color pencil so that you can see each day's assignments at a glance.
 
 

Virtual Geometry Quiz due 9/25!

Please refer to our due dates list posted earlier and be sure to take all quizzes on or before their due date.  Thanks and have a great day and weekend!
 

Algebra Test

Our first Algebra test for face-to-face students will be Monday, September 28 for A day students and Wednesday, September 30 for B day students. Please be sure to turn in all completed class work assignments and study prior to your test day. 

Virtual School Picture Day Sept 30

Wednesday, September 30th  is virtual students picture day.

Students with last names beginning with the letters A-L should come to Central between 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. to have pictures made.

Students with last names beginning with the letters M-Z should come to Central between 12:15 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. to have pictures made.

Any student who wants to have his/her picture made but cannot come during the slotted time is welcome to come in at any point in the day between the hours of 8:30 and 2:45.

Virtual Geometry Quiz due 9/23!

Be sure to complete your 1.2.3 quiz before the end of the day on 9/23. Make sure you're logging in daily for attendance.  :)  Email me with questions or concerns.  

Algebra Quiz

We will have a quiz on Changing from Standard form or point-slope form to slope-intercept form. The quiz will be Thursday for A day students and Friday for B day students.  

Google Meets Notes 9/21/2020

Here is a list of what we discussed in our morning meeting. 
 
We have three assignments due this week: Quizzes 1.2.3, 1.3.3, and 1.4.2.
 
Please do not work very far ahead. Use your time for studying and preparing for the final Unit 1 test.
 
Khan Academy is a great, free resource if you need additional support or explanation. You can create your own username and password for this resource.
 
Virtual Picture Day is 9/30/2020.
 
Next week we will have to print, complete and upload our first teacher-graded assignment. I will explain how to do this at next week's Google Meet.

Monday's Google Meeting

I have created and emailed links for Monday's Google Meets. Please attend either the morning or the afternoon session. You do not have to attend both, unless you need to. 

Virtual Honors Geometry - Reminders

Please be sure to take notes, email any questions, and go through all study materials thoroughly prior to taking your quizzes. You will have three attempts at quizzes before being locked out. You need a minimum of 60 on each quiz. Please don't try to work far ahead. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Refer to the previous post of due dates and try to adhere pretty closely to those dates rather than rushing ahead. All quizzes need to be completed on or before the due date, however.
