Last night, the atmosphere at White Plains Golf Course was filled with pride and appreciation as we gathered for the annual Teacher and Employee of the Year Banquet. It was a wonderful evening dedicated to celebrating the hard work, heart, and dedication of our outstanding staff for the 2026-2027 school year.
We are thrilled to announce our district-wide winners:
District Teacher of the Year - Shannon Jacobs, Resource Teacher, Cheraw Intermediate
Mrs. Jacobs is known for her unwavering commitment to her students' success and her ability to inspire everyone around her. We are so proud to have her representing our district!
District Employee of the Year - Renee Deese, School Nurse, Jefferson Elementary
Nurse Deese is a vital part of the Jefferson Elementary family, providing care and compassion to our students every single day. Her dedication to the health and well-being of our school community is truly unmatched.
