Beginning November 10, 2020, Chesterfield County School District will be asking parents to communicate their intentions for second semester of the 2020-21 school year. An electronic form is available for completion online to express whether students would like to remain enrolled in virtual school or return to face-to-face instruction. Likewise, if students have been attending face-to-face and would like to switch to virtual instruction for second semester, the form will also allow you to indicate that selection. Take note that November 24th is the deadline for your decision. The electronic form is available online through the Chesterfield County School District website (www.chesterfieldschools.org) as well as being emailed to you. If you do not reregister your child through this online form, he or she will remain in his or her current choice of instruction.
After November 24th, schools will then work to reallocate teaching staff and student assignments throughout the month of December. Parents opting for a change in placement (to or from virtual) may expect a response from their school before winter break. The second semester placement will begin January 4, 2021, following winter break.
