Central High School Marine Corps JROTC receives a Walmart grant in the amount of $1,000 for the MCJROTC program’s dedication and commitment to develop leadership, informed and responsible citizens, build character, stress discipline, teach respect for authority and show possible career choices to our cadets. Walmart is a big advocate of the JROTC program because their organization stresses the same objectives. Photo was taken at the Walmart Distribution facility conference room in Pageland. Phil Ingram, the general manager of the facility is pictured center back with the cadets. The Central High School MCJROTC cadets went to the facility to express their gratitude for the generous donation. During the visit, Mr. Ingram discussed what Walmart is looking for in future employees and what the company offers its employees and the community. Later he answered questions from the cadets.
